We have entered the period of waning and retreat, the liminal stage between life's most exuberant expression (Summer) and its long days of quietus (Winter).

As the days get darker, we may find the Shadow within us beginning to present itself more fully, and things may start to feel a little heavier than they did a few months ago. The energy of Fall may also call upon us to recognize and shed old thought patterns, habits and behaviours that are no longer helping us, and to ground and find balance in our lives.

Join us for "Autumn Renewal", 6 weeks of meditation and discussion on:
How we can use Autumn as a time to find balance in our lives, including developing self-care routines and boundaries to help us strengthen and prepare for the busy holiday season ahead;

How to stay present, grounded and compassionate with ourselves and others when we feel heavy and/or seasonal emotional lows arising within us;

Even as the hours of sunlight wane, how we can access the clear light within us to illuminate and transmute that which is coming up to be acknowledged, healed and integrated;

The importance of fostering community and connection when we feel isolated or alone, especially as we begin spending more time indoors.

Meditations and discussions will be lead by Tara Mesensky, B.A., J.D., Transformative Coach and Student Psychotherapist.

NADA Acudetox is a specialized protocol of acupuncture that is performed by placing five thin, sterile, single-use needles at specific Chinese medicine related acupoints on the outer ear. The needles are generally left in place for approximetaly 20 minutes. The client is silent in mediation, prayer, self-support and/or reflection. The protocol is helpful in supporting the challenges of emotional and mental health, addictions, anxiety, stress, emotional trauma, craving, mental illness and/or PTSD. All the five points serve to balance the body's energy and assist the body's healing processes. It restores the calm inner qualities akin to serenity. In general, needling the Sympathetic and Shen Men points produces calming, relaxing and centering effects. The other three points, Kidney, Liver and Lung, correspond to yin organ systems in Chinese medicine. The yin organs are seen as internal, nourishing, nurturing, restorative and supportive. They store the vital substances such as energy and essence. In modern Western medicine, kidney, liver and lung relate to detoxification and cleansing (the organs of elimination). Participants have an opportunity to experience their internal process as a source of strength and renewal.

Learn how to communicate in a new healthy way with self, in relationships, while gaining tools to maintain this connection. This introductory workshop is open to Individuals and Couples, and anyone seeking to build healthy, conscious, mindful relationships in personal and professional lives.

A monthly gathering that focuses on the teachings and techniques of Imago therapy – a specific style of relationship therapy designed to help conflict within relationships become opportunities for healing and growth. The Latin word “imago” – meaning “image” – refers to the “unconscious image of familiar love.”

The concept of imago as an image of familiar love suggests that our early relationships teach us something about love and about ourselves. Through these early experiences, we develop a sense of an identity related to love, such as what love is and what we need to do in order to experience love from others and feel safe.

In our early relationships, we start to develop a sense of self-worth based on how we are treated by important people in our lives. We start to develop attachment patterns and start to gain a sense of how we think we should be treated by others. When we fall in love, we’re often taken aback by the magic and possibility that comes with it. Unconsciously, what we’re seeking in romantic relationships is what we’re familiar with from our childhood. This includes feelings of love, self-expression and connection as well as feelings of abandonment, suppression or neglect. As our experience in love deepens, core issues will begin to surface often overshadowing all the beauty in the relationship. This leaves most couples feeling misunderstood, hurting, in doubt and eventually breaking up. Instead of seeing it as the beginning of the deeper work of love.

Imago Relationship Therapy is a conversation that moves from blame and rejection towards empathy and healing. In the work, partners are on a journey of discovery of each other, learning new methods of communication, deepening connection and co-creating a new love relationship. Partners begin to realize their true purpose in the love dynamic and become more conscious in building the relationship they desire.

*The techniques and concepts learned within IMAGO Therapy can be applied to all types of relationships – intimate, professional, with self, children, and beyond.

Charles Sue-Wah-Sing is a professional life coach and a Certified Imago Professional Facilitator. Though Charles has applied Imago principles in romantic relationships, including his own marriage. He’s learned that the foundations of Imago can also be applied to many situations beyond romantic relationships. He’s applied the Imago work to coaching entrepreneurs, individuals, peers and other family relationships with incredible breakthroughs.
